So, in all of his other fights he didn't plan on knocking out his opponents? I always find it funny when fighters make statements like this.

Good on your Chuck!

A big Iceman KO will hopefully start a renaissance of wins for UFC vintage Champions where Liddell, Hughes and Coutore make a charge at the respective titles!

It's probably because they always get asked the same stupid questions...
"So what's your gameplan?"
"er... gee...let me see... I hope that he beat the crap out of me in the first round and I eek out the last two rounds to get the split decision and walk out of there with minor long term brain trauma and two broken hands that require surgery, and keep me out of paying fights for 8 months..."

Amen! Timeline for the start of the UFC Renaissance:

April, '09 - Liddell with a huge 1st Rnd KO
May, '09 - Hughes slams sarah unconcious in the 3rd Rnd
Aug, '09 - Couture puts together a picture perfect gameplan & waltzes around Nog with ease.

I think if Rua comes in aggressive and comes right at Chuck, Liddell will KO him in the first. If Rua is passive, Chuck will KO him in the second or third.
