By the way I dont really like Condit but you can't deny he has skills.
I don't deny Condit has skills, I just don't think he is ever touching a UFC belt at WW.

He has what I would call a very charmed record,
Miura was giving him sooo much trouble, and beating him in a lot of spots IMO,
the stoppage was from blows to the back of the head, very odd.
He beat Larson on what? a few days notice?

Those are his two toughest fights (wins) in my opinion.

hit him and moved him around for a while then,
failed with the heelhook (sub attempt number 2) but got up.
Condit landed a knee, and although nice, it didn't put anybody in danger.

I don't see how anybody could give round 1 to Condit.
here is what sherdog said about round 1

Round 1
Condit blasts Kampmann with a straight right to the body. Kampmann trips his opponent to the canvas and goes to work on a guillotine from the top. Condit reverses position and passes to side-control to escape the hold. Kampmann sweeps Condit and begins to work from the guard. Kampmann drops down for a heel hold and Condit is game. Condit escapes and tees off with a right hand and two elbows that cut Kampmannís face up. Kampmann gets to his feet and is greeted with a perfectly timed knee to the face. Condit and Kampmann exchange punches and Condit gets the better of it as he glides into a jumping knee. Kampmann works for a guillotine as the horn sounds.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Kampmann
Lotfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Condit
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Condit

Right, opinions differ, I gave mine.
Condit didn't reverse, IMO Martin took the choke to his back where he had a better chance, then condit escapted. They leave out that Condit couldn't hold Martin down, that Martin made 2 attempts to finish the fight, was in control on the ground longer, and got up quickly every time Condit ended up on top.
