As much as I do love songs of worship, I keep coming back to Matthew 6
any further clarification on this?

That's speaking against using prayer as a thinly disguised form of self-worship. In other words, praying not to speak to and give praise to GOD, but to draw attention to ourselves and our own piety.

I'm more of an old-school type. I don't really care for the contemporary music so much.
