UFC 154 *SPOILERS*

i'll tell you something else...Time and Money...I have seen dedicated fans, stop paying for all UFC events coz they cant be afforded...and on youtube, people who did predictions for every single event and recaps...

It takes maybe three-four hours to create a single video...if you are doing a prediction for one, and a recap for another, almost EVERY WEEKEND...

loads of people have stopped, or chosen to only focus on some...its sad...I am about to join them in downgrading my MMA youtube services because, the other thing is, with so many events around, noone wants to watch THAT many events PLUS all the predictions, PLUS all the recap videos do they??? one a month, maybe two was fine...but its not fine now.

As from now I am scrapping all recap videos unless there is something truely awesome to speak about. I am only going to do quick picks on a few of the fights I care about for all superflous events, I am scrapping the entire predictions in beief project and just mentioning a few fighters I care about in weekly blogs instead, along with the results in terms of predictions and fighter of the card awards. ONLY numbered events are guarenteed full predictions and full recap videos...and if the UFC dare to raise the amount of those next year, I will have to cut the recaps of them also...I just havent got time...and people on this forum dont care as much as they did, and frankly, thats true on every mma forum I post on...I spread my base last Fall and am now regular/semi regular on several others...and its the same everywhere you go.

Indeed...we dont get to see the events very easily either...and on the off chance we do get an event, which is less frequent then it was...we get...one of our own shoved in our face

I want to see both too, and I agree with the order they should occur. Although, I'm still getting the vibe from Georges that he is not really wanting this fight with Anderson. It would definitely be a challenging fight, and if that's what he's wanting/needing in order to stay excited about fighting, you'd think he'd embrace the challenge.

When Ariel was talking with Anderson after the fight last night, I got the impression he is ready to commit to fighting Georges, but I think he, too, sensed Georges hesitation when Joe asked him about it.

If it's ever going to happen, I think it should be the next fight for both of them and it should happen sooner rather than later in the new year!

Why would it be catchweight?! I thought Georges would go up to 185.

I have said for awhile that I don't believe Georges wants anything to do with fighting Anderson. But for the right amount of money it may happen.

As for the catchweight, they have been discussing this so that they can do the superfight and then go back and defend their titles.

Submission specialists do stand a good chance if they can get Silva down, but most of them cant...and I think its about time we distinguish here between a wrestler who cant finish on the ground and a wrestler who can. I would see Silva netralizing GSP on the ground with defense so much they would be stood up, because what Silva ought to think about is not so much preventing a take-down here, at least not in terms of sprawl, but to carry on a counter strikers approach to it, but to consider that if he's taken down, he must stop GSP looking busy. On the feet, in terms of pure skill GSP might, might be better...but I have yet to see any good striker fair remotely well against a his callibre in counter striking, it is that good.

I'm sure a lot of people (like me) were interested to see if this long lay off would have any effect on Georges. It was a good fight, not with the outcome I wanted, but a good fight.

If Georges would be able to get Silva on the ground as easily and as often as he did with Condit, and keep him there, and do enough, he might be able to get another decision. But, we know it takes just one stupid mistake/move, and Anderson has you locked up and tapping! Or, he could always knock you out with one of those straight high kicks! I give Anderson the odds in a fight with GSP, but I don't think we can say with certainty that GSP would lose. We'll just have to wait and see....IF this fight ever happens!

But how can you say that when you are the one trolling George for not finishing?
If anything you are still mad that he beat Hughes twice in very convincing manner. Shouldnt that make him an all time great? Afterall he did finish the greatest Welterweight in UFC history!

BUT Jones/Silva...well...I think that one is still debatable...The instution are possibly trying to oust someone...They have had trouble with both Anderson Silva AND Georges Saint Pierre...they may feel that this big draw will be worth the demise of one or other due to the money, and the money in the aftermath...people are tiered of the same people at the top, I reckon, in truth, the UFC might also be. if worst comes to worst, its the best of three isnt it, imagine the drama that will create

I think they are quite on Jones because they feel he could yet go far, and because he has had some..erm...negative press outside their organisation.

I thought it was a great fight. At no point in the 5-rounds was I bored with the action. Georges didn't finish but he was always active on top. He didn't just hold position, he worked for more the entire time and Carlos was working just as hard.

It was an awesome fight! All though I was kind of rooting for Carlos I'm happy GSP got the W!

That's what I like about Carlos and Chael! No excuses humble in defeat!
