Chiefs get Cassel and Vrabel!!
Finally, the Chiefs made some REAL changes. We got rid of our cancers in Herm Edwards and Carl Peterson, and managed to pick up Matt Cassel and Mike Vrabel in a trade!
Not saying we will be a playoff contender next year (although the AFC West was the worst division in football this year), but we definitely have a big reason to smile and start talking playoffs within the next 2-3 years!

thats cool. ive always rooted for the chiefs because were only an hour away from kc but weve been disapointed for a long time with them

At least they're making some trades and trying to get young guys. Pretty stupid to get rid of Gonzales for a 2nd round pick in the 2010 draft. He still would have been an effective weapon in KC, but I know he wanted out. They could have easily gotten another 1st round pick in this year or next year's draft for him though.
