Karo Suspended 9 months, fined $24K and Kim fight ruled NC

On mma weekly they reportef the fine was 32K. I don't know about you guys but 8 thousand different seems like a lot of money

Did anybody notice that Karo is claiming he was prescribed the pain-killers while training to fight Hughes? Not that it matters, but it's still interesting to note.

Honestly, I have never been a Karo fan, but I can understand why he hid it if he actually has a problem with pain-killers, as it would seem he does if he still using them and hiding it from people over 4 years after the fact. Regardless, banned substances are banned substances and he KNEW that. So, it's his fault no matter what.

Bailey said recommend fine of 40% of $80K = $32,000.

I'm not sure if he was going to get to keep the bonus.

He gets to keep it, but part of the motion was that any future infringements would first lose their win bonus, then the punishments would be deducted from the guaranteed money.
