Well, he has gotten into trouble on the ground. So.... it is his trouble spot lol Nog doesn't just passout BB's, but as you and everybody else on here knows, BJJ isn''t MMA. I am sure he doesn't "slack", but you can't be perfect at everything, and his ground game has proven to not be on the same level as his striking |

it's true... anderson's weakness is on the ground.
but here's the catch... it's not really a weakness. his weakness is stronger than many fighter's strengths. he submitted legit black belt travis lutter on the ground, submitted olympic wrestler dan henderson, pulled a beautiful switch on the "superior wrestler" nate marquardt, and the list goes on. i don't see leites beating him in this fight. i wouldn't be suprised if anderson submits him |

The dude is a kickboxer no doubt and ground is not where he is best but a weakness his ground game is not. |

You can say that his less stallar area is his ground game, but here's the kicker:
Sure people have gotten him into trouble on the ground but he hasn't lost from a sub since Chonan threw that flying scissor. So maybe Leites will get him into trouble on the ground, but honestly you haven't lost until you've lost.

I think Leities would be lucky to win...I think Maia would win...if that makes any sense. the thing in Leities favour is that little statistic that says that Anderson Silva cant go unbeaten at the top for ever.
Noone does. But Maia would be be more of a challenge for Silva...I think if Silva makes a mistake on the ground Leities wins...but...that might be Silva slipping rather then Thales taking if that makes sense I'm still convinced Dan Henderson would win a rematch also.

Some people want to see him lose so bad, they're convinced that anybody can beat him, and it will be by the ground.. GSP, Leites, Maia..
Marquardt couldn't finish him, Hendo, Lutter, Rich (in the second fight) can't wait to see what Leites is gonna do |

I hope anderson loses just to see his nutthuggers reaction!!!!
the dude is not unbeatable he has holes in his ground game. If he makes a mistake against thales on the ground he will get tapped out.. |

Lutter is extremely talented, but doesn't have the drive to improve other areas of his game (stand-up, cardio etc.).
He reminds of Frank Mir. He even mounted Rich, which is not easy to do. Quote:
