I'm not sure...is it your clever play with words?

What gets me is Junior had rocked Cain with some of those first punches but he failed to go in and take advantage of it...that drives me nuts when there's no follow-up and they just let their opponent recover. Plus, after clearly seeing Cain's strategy the first two rounds, why not move out away from the fence and keep it in the middle?

The problem is JDS has no transition skills from striking to BJJ. Cain can mix everything up which makes him very effective. I am interested to see him fight Werdum because he will give Cain issues if it goes to the ground.

Yeah, they are, Kevin. Cain's tat just irks me so I have a hard time rooting for him.

And the Sanchez/Melendez fight....WOW! Those are some warriors also. I knew it would be closer than the odds had them. Diego is all heart and isn't going to quit. I think he helped bring that out of Gilbert tonight and the two put on a show.

I totally agree. If Brock Lesnar had a White Pride tattoo on his chest it would have been "racist", even IF Lesnar is just proud to be white.

I'm proud to be white! That doesn't mean I think being white is better than being black, but I have a God-given right to be proud of my white, European heritage.

Bugs me too.

According to Dana, Cain's "Brown Pride" tattoo is perfectly acceptable, and if you make the argument about "White Pride" and the double standard, you're probably just some "redneck hillbilly".

Quote:
According to Velasquez's boss, UFC president Dana White, those comparisons are completely unjustified.

He explains the difference(s) to MMA Heat after the UFC 155 pre-fight press conference:

"Completely different. Let me tell you what, if you're saying I should have a tattoo that says 'White Pride,' that tells us where you're at, right off the bat. What 'Brown Pride' means, he's part to be Mexican, he's proud of his heritage. If you're Italian, I grew up, when I lived in Boston you had guys with Italian this, Irish that, you know, everybody had a tattoo on themselves of their ethnic background. There's nothing wrong with Cain Velasquez having a 'Brown Pride' (tattoo). To even make that statement, you're probably some redneck hillbilly out in the middle of the country somewhere and we know where you're at and what you're thinking."

Dana talks out of both sides of his mouth and has no courage in his convictions. It's all about the bottom line and kow-towing to the PC Police. You can't really believe anything he says, for instance when he answered the question "when are we going to see women in the UFC" and he responded "Never...never".

lol

I'm with Vizion on this one. It is a double standard, the Irish and Italians (and many other ethnic groups) were treated horribly when they immigrated to the United States.

Dana White is an ignorant fool when it comes to this.
