Default How do I change my IP?

I got banned from another forum and I know they can't possibly live without me so how can I make another account?

you can't if you are on a broadband or dsl line. dial up used to give you a different ip everytime you signed on, but usually ips are static now.

A different internet source--like a cell phone hotspot or wireless wifi from a neighbor would give a different ip, or you can use your same internet and go through a proxy server. just google proxy server and the second and third results most likely will be sites that will let you hide your ip.

nate might know more about it, as far as how they screen ips though

Thank for the advice. I'll try it when I get home from work this evening and let you ( not Ben) know

Sorry, this just reminds me of a certain sting operation that may or may not have occurred around the time of UFC 98...

But that would void my plausible deniability!

Not to let sleeping dogs lie...or whatever that expression is say I take my laptop with me when I travel. Say I create a new account on the website that banned me.Will they know it's me and not let me? I'm guessing they won't know BUT, when I get home will it go back to my old banned IP?
