This one needs more info. Was he trying to puncture the tire with a knife and it blew his shirt off and bloodied him up? That's my guess, but it looks like an explosion.

This is a weird one. Where does the stain on the pavement come from? It looks like it comes from his arm, but how? My best guess is, he hit it on the step and then his weight landed on it breaking the bone through the skin, but I wouldn’t think just falling down would do that much damage! I guess the power of poetic justice is greater than the tensile strength of cowardly tough guy.

i thought that too, but after reading what shrek says, it does look like there is a snap in the ulna or radius when he falls on it .. could be the camera angle though .. either way, i don't feel bad for him ..
