Well after our discussion His wife googled secular music in church and this thread is about 6 links down and that is how they found it. They were "researching" my complaints. But I agree it does seem odd. I sincerely hope they look deep into the issue and return to the one true God and not the god of this world.

Hmmm, they must have a great new search engine. I used google and there's no link to the MHF on the first 6 pages of results.

Why not just speak to you about it directly through email or FB?

Different music will effect people differently. If it makes them feel closer to God then who are we to say it is wrong?

Is this what it has come to? The very christians that were so opposed to others trying to direct them on how they were supposed to worship are now the ones doing the directing?

EVERY single church and religion has accepted things in their church that go against the word of the bible to give allowances to those who wish to come and worship.

And using music to worship? Didn't anyone here watch Footloose?

We’re not directing, we’re criticizing and mocking. Opening up a little to let people in is good to a point, until it compromises the whole point of the operation. Why bother inviting someone to church if there isn’t going to be any Church there?
