I understand the business side of it though; he's the best unknown guy in all of the UFC, so it'd be a hard sell until he gets a fight on the main card against a bigger name fighter.

I'm not familiar with him but think he'd be a more interesting choice than Faber. Dana's going to play it safe, apparently; I guess that's the best business decision even if it's not the most intriguing match up for the fans.

I had faber winning the Second fight. he dropped Cruz a couple of time s and he landed the most significant punches

Yup that was crazy! Just like 2 judges had Jones winning the first round against Machida.

yeah, that was dumb too .. i never agreed with that whole, you have to thoroughly beat the champ to take the title .. no, you just have to beat him .. machida did more than enough to win that first round and two judges still gave it to jones .. weird

When does the new TUF season start? Since the weekly fights are live, we don't have to wait for them to film the whole season before they start airing it. Hopefully it starts soon.

It's still going to run March-June, just like the seasons have in the past. Interesting thing is that the coaches will be training right along-side the fighters since this will be their training camp, as well. Should be interestingto see if that affects their performance at all.

Just wanted to bring this back from the dead now that Barao is the guy fighting Faber. After he beats Faber, you'll see why he should have been the coach rather than Faber, whom they were using for ratings rather than the guy who really deserved the shot at Cruz' title.
