Default Rampage misses weight

Rampage weighed in at 211....has to give up 20% of his purse to Bader.

This not-making-weight trend is getting old.

I can't imagine that Dana is too pleased about it.

He is claiming he was injured in training and there was a point where the doctors told him not to fight.

What do you think, Kevin? Is he just laying the groundwork in case of a loss or is that legit?

He probably just let himself get too fat in between fights. I remember getting a text from my brother several fights ago saying that he was at Huntington Beach and Rampage was jogging by looking like he was at least 50 over
Guess he didn't get his jog time in this time

Wow, 20% for 6 lbs...they said based on what he made in his recent ufc fights, $250,000, that could be in the $50,000 range. That's a little over $8,300 per pound, if I figured it right. Maybe Bader can knock him out and get a bonus on top of that nice bit of change.

From Yahoo article:

Quote:
Jackson said he woke up at 3 a.m. local time to cut weight and he was only able to go from 232 down to 211.
Quote:
Rich Franklin, serving as an analyst on Fuel TV, called Jackson's miss "ridiculous."

Sounds like he waited too late to start cutting weight.

I don't get him; is he serious about fighting or not?

Apparently he jacked his knee up bad during camp & the doc told him not to fight. He re-injured when Bader slammed him in the second.
