“I couldn’t give a rat’s ass if I beat Ryan Bader or not, I just want to put on the best show the world has ever seen. I never claimed to be a martial artist or a guy who’s good at everything. I’m a street fighter. There’s a lot of things I don’t care about. I don’t care to know what my opponent’s doing, I don’t care to know his skills or stuff like that, because I’m a brawler. Ya know, a street fight you just walk up to the guy and start a fight. You ain’t got no tape on this guy.”
UFC 144 competitor Quinton Rampage Jackson breaks down his mentality going in to this weekend’s co-main event against Ryan Bader. www.bjpenn.com |

If he doesn't consider himself a Mixed Martial Artist maybe he should switch venues to Felony Fights?!!

rampage knows his chances of regaining the title are all but over ... he's on a downhill slide ... now he's just fighting to get a few more dollars and revenge for losses like forrest, rashad etc ...

LOL - Minikimbo???
I guess it's the excuse mentality of losing that he's about to be acclimated to.

yup ... the sad part is, is that if he trained, and stuck to game plans, he'd probably be number 2 in the division ...

Rampage is on my nerves. He has been attacking Joe Rogan and carrying on in his typical ghetto manner.. Bleh, hope Ryan wins!!

I think the UFC has a place for fighters like this in their ranks. Fighters that will go out there and fight and just not care about winning or losing, but putting on a great show. I wish Pride was still around for these guys as I've heard many fighters say Japanese fans appreciated these kinds of fighters as opposed to Americans being too concerned with fighters winning.
