What book are you currently reading ?

Under Cover by John Bevere. I read it once in 2002, and am rereading it. I am actually gleaning more from it now than I did then.

My recruiter mentioned it to me, and my grandparents were here over Christmas and they said my aunt had ordered it for my cousin who is stationed in Guam and my other cousin(his sister) who's husband is on the USS John C. Stennis

I just started it, but it's great so far...I have a ton of respect for all of those guys, what they go through in BUDS is mind blowing....My roommate at MEPS was leaving the next day for boot camp, he was going to be a SEAL

What branch are you going into, mhf, if you don't mind me asking?

One of the (many) things I enjoyed about the book is that Marcus went through SEAL training from start to finish. It was really amazing and now I understand why they are the "elite of the elite fighting forces". I'll be interested to hear what you think of the book.
