Actually...I thought this was quite a good performance...although for a while I wondered why the band were playing over the speaker Also...OMG how embarising! does anyone else notice at the 4.15 mark the National Standard Bearer trips and falls flat...so...incidently do the colour...watch lower left hand corner blesssssssssssss Bottom Right there is a woman who is actually signing what is being spoken live...I first noticed her during the Collect for Veterans.

My favourite bit was when the Standards processed out, you can see the tiny litte Golden Aquila on the top of the flag poles, thats absolutely glorious

I am pleased to see you have a lot of National Associations for Ex-Forces

In England we observe Two mins of National Silence on Armistice Day, November 11th, but the actual National recognition of the War Dead occurs on the closest Sunday to Armistice. This Sunday is known as "Remembrance Sunday" and it takes place in two halves. First there is the National Walk past the Cenotaph in London and wreath laying by Royalty and Parliamentarians. Then there is usually a national Televised Service of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall.

Please note, that the emphasis for Europe is to focus on those troops who have died. Not those who are currently serving, nor those who have survived. Its really a commemoration of the dead.

They supposedly play it everyday when taking down the Standard for the night In Military Cemetries I believe...I dont know why they would ever take the Standard down...but apparently they do every night and then hoist it back up in the Morning...I have no idea if their is a sunrise ceremony aswell...somehow I wouldnt be suprised
