This might sound like a silly question given that football is played as a team sport and wrestling is played individually, but wrestling might be more effective at instilling a sense of... teamhood? and cooperative effort, while football can be more conducive to hotshoting at the expense of ones team mates.
Is there anyone else here who has played both, and can comment on this? If you wanted your rugrats to learn from a sport, which would you encourage? |

I think wrestling is best for learning a strong work ethic. Not sure about which is a better team sport. I will say, that I feel a strong friendship bond among my fight team members but I also felt a strong bond with my hockey team. Also helps that the core of my hockey team was together for years.
It's a good case for argument but I'm guessing it might depend on the other people more than which sport. |

Wrestling is definitely more of a team sport. You don't see people getting saved in football like you see in wrestling:

I'd also like to give a nod to baseball. In no other sport do you see both teams clear the benches at least once a week.
2nd nod to soccer, but that's mostly because the fans are absolutely insane.
