Church Search 2011

Soooo...some of you may know that back in November 2010 I decided the time had come to break communion with Christ Church on the Stray and to look for a new church.

Christ Church on the Stray became my new church in 2008 after a church search which was initiated in response to pleas from this forum infact. But when I settled on Christ Church they were in an interegnum and of sound theology. More recently they have found a new priest who comes from a background of precentor at derby cathedral...and he is a universalist. I have fallen foul of that trap before, and I cant remain in a place that holds to that, even if it is more a personal theology then what is always preached by that Church. I did however aggree to remain at the church for my Sisters Sake until July 2011 for she wanted to go to the church in preparation for her marriage their...and she comes all the way from Leeds.

In weeks where she couldnt come I began visiting other churches...and now that she is married...I am in full swing visiting a different church each week. If you wanted to follow my progress...I do reviews on each one...and thought I would list them here for you to see. I visit all the Protestant Denominations...I do not visit any Roman Catholic Churches.

I began by visiting those that were on the very edge of the geographical scale of what I felt I could visit. The first was in the North West...in the shadow of Christ Church called New Life Christian Fellowship, that meets in a conference room at a Hotel.
