The reason he isnt listed earlier is because its Chronological. So In charting the progress of the UFC the first Twenty One are SEG Fighters and the Founders, The Second set are from the Zuffa and Weight Class/Rules...of which number 21, the first real Zuffa Fighter on the list is Jens Pulver
The third set are Pride Imported Fighters, then you have some TUFers...and finally, the recent generational Champions and WEC importsHere is the full list (the source is The Bleacher Report) http://bleacherreport.com/articles/8...in-ufc-history There are a few missing, and a few which seem Chronologically out of place |

Technically...he would be number 27... The first picture in the slideshow is not part of the list.
However, the credibility is about as sound as professional wrestling..... 1. Bleacher Report 2. Art Jimmerson (he is literally number 2... 3. Fred Ettish... That is all. |

Whoops, forgot one thing...
4. Chael Sonnen made the list. Total loss of credibility, and testosterone. |

Spitsbing? Puh-leeze!
I still enjoyed looking at the slideshow, Dave, thanks for posting it. It was particularly interesting seeing some of the guys from the "bad 'ol days" as I just bought UFC 1 - 10 and watched the first 2 last night. I couldn't believe that at the first ever UFC fight, the first sentence out of the announcer's mouth, he burps. The commentary was...otherworldy. And those enormous headphones!
