more then two thousand Europeans have fallen ill with a bizzare type of E-coli...it has killed about twenty, and left nearly 600 in hospital seriously ill.
The Source seemed to be Cucumbers...Cucumbers which were sold on to sale by Germany. Germany blamed Spain because that was where the Cucumbers originated from.
Unfortunately the cross contamination seems to be effecting many vegetables...anyway...after further research it appears the source of the strain may be a beansprout farm...and its within Germanys soverignty. Spain went nuclear and is trying to claim compensation, since its stocks fell when Germany blamed them.
Meanwhile...in other European News...the Portuguese Premier has gone...the country went to a General Ellection which he has now lost...when the Government lost control of its money and had to apply for a European Union financial bail out.
...and Scotland is declairing war on the new "supreme court" which was imposed on Britain by Europe...in theory it succeeds the Crown...which of course is idiotic...since the Crown is supposed to be the highest court in the land...so England has generally ignored the blahs by the Supreme Court....the problem is that as part of the UK...Scotland is also covered by the Supreme Court...but Scotland has provincial rule...meaning...it has its own independant legal system...not of british origin....The Supreme Court is making the same scene in Scotland...and they are less inclined to listen, much less act, on the stupid european commentry on how the Scots should run their Judiciary
Scotland, now under the control of Nationalists which are trying to do a referendum on breaking from the British Union...obviously is not impressed at this...bad enough being tied to England...let alone some obscure European Enforced "Supreme Court" So...they've given the them the finger and told the Supreme Court to bog off and mind its own neb
