This guy runs a gym and is claiming to be Matt's cousin or something, sort of using Matt's name in promoting his gym.

Basic Info from FB Page:

"New MMA School to the panhandle of Texas. Face-Off Academy is a school devoted to teach not only Mixed Martial Arts but also self defense and strength/endurance training. We have amateurs that have never thrown a single elbow or punch in their life, to Pro fighters trying to earn their spot in the spot light with Pride or UFC. This is my second school to open, being a bit smaller than the Academy in South Georgia, we’re still growing and always looking for new fresh faces! I started fighting after meeting a relative of mine in Illinois, Matt and Mark Hughes, It was kind of a wakeup call that I wasn’t happy doing anything else other than a physical competition between one man and another, but I wanted more than just your school yard fights I wanted it to be legit. I Joined the military months later and was sent Osan AB, Korea where I met my coach Tim Anderson. I trained with him until he thought I was ready mentally and physically to compete. In 2007 I stopped fighting with an 8-2 fighting record and wanted to do what coach had done for me and train new fighters. After obtaining my license and belts I started training under another coach in GA and eventually took the class when he went back to fighting the rest is history."

His gym is supposedly brand new and he mentions Pride.

Maybe he made the post 5yrs ago when PRIDE was still around & he's just never updated it?
