42-18 is a pretty big win for the UFC:

Oh, this is GREAT news! Thanks, rockdawg, I totally missed it when you posted this.
Vermont is hopeless, I'll have to start calling it Varmint. Other than that, isn't there just one more state that hasn't sanctioned MMA? Is it SC??? |

This list is from 2008, so I'm assuming some of these are no longer ture:
-Maine: Big shock here. -Maryland: Hopefully not for long. -Nebraska: While not exactly illegal, it’s left up to the communities/counties – and many prosecute for assault or promoting assault. -New York: This just doesn’t make any sense. -North Carolina: Possible change in the works. -South Carolina: Too worried someone might knock their two teeth out. -Tennessee: Heavy lobbying to make it legal. -West Virginia: Write your congressman. EDIT: Turns out I shoulda just started with Wikipedia: Quote:

Connecticut is it! I thought there were just 3 to go before NY voted.
The UFC will just have to give up on Varmint. |
