Lesnar out of UFC 131
On a last minute conference call, which is currently in progress, UFC president Dana White and Brock Lesnar have announced that the former UFC heavyweight champion has relapsed and is back in recovery from a bout with diverticulitis.
The announcement comes as a shock to the MMA community who thought Lesnar's first bout with the illness was the last we would hear of it.
Lesnar has confirmed that he is not retiring, but that he is not able to fight JDS at UFC 131. He is currently looking for the best way to resolve these health issues and refers to the illness as just a speed bump.
Dana White confirmed on the call that Shane Carwin will replace Lesnar in the main event of UFC 131.
