Default The British are coming! The British are coming!

Ok, I really don't care that they are coming, but felt it a perfect opportunity to use the thread title.

Just have to say, of all the places to visit (California), they would choose a much safer state. I'm sure the security would be good, but still...

Prince William and Kate Middleton to visit California in July

(CBS/AP) Prince William and Kate Middleton are heading to the Golden State this summer.

Royal officials said Thursday that the newly-married couple will visit California as part of their first foreign trip together on July 8 to July 10.

Details of their itinerary have yet to be announced.

It will be William's first official trip to the United States, and Middleton's first-ever visit to the country.

Their visit will follow their royal tour of Canada, a trip that will take them to Alberta, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, the Northwest Territories and the National Capital Region.

The royal couple - now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - married last week at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony seen around the world.

After a long weekend in private, they have returned to the remote island of Anglesey in Wales, where William is based as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue helicopter pilot, putting off a honeymoon for now.

I hope the British don't need to do any searching and rescueing that needs a helio pilot...

Im not worried about them visiting CA

but...I am worried about HM The Queen visiting The Republic of Eire....no Monarch has done that since Independance was forcefully taken by the Irish...It must be like the first British Monarch to visit the US after the War of Independance...its...a dangerous thing to do...a lot of Irish people dont like her

Today it was announced they have deployed water cannons in Dublin ready to quell any haters when she visits in mid May
