The thing about freedom of speech and the right to free expression is that it is only a restriction on the government. Private citizens and privately-owned businesses/organizations are under no obligation to respect someone else's freedom of speech/expression.

So we, as private citizens, have every right to do whatever we can LEGALLY do to block these Westboro idiots from exercising their "freedom of speech."

God Bless Mississippi! As for that (there's more than one way to skin a cat) my Dad used to say that alot! The way I see it is Mississippi stopped a bunch of idiots from harassing Folk's that were just trying to bury thier deceased family in peace!

I'm about 95% sure this is a hoax. I know I personally would love to believe it but I'm almost positive this is pure fiction.

Well, Chuck, I just checked the websites of the Clarion Ledger (newspaper in Jackson, MS) and the newspaper in Brandon, and there's nothing at all about it, although there is coverage of the funeral of the Marine. Either it didn't happen, or they aren't printing it. Either way, it sure feels good to imagine those guys getting bamboozled like that!
