That was a huge weight cut for Rumble.

From 230 lbs to 171...59 lbs.

I wonder when he started cutting.

Cutting that much weight isn't as hard as it sounds....not saying it's easy by any means, but still not as crazy as most people think...not to mention the fact that weights are typically overstated by announcers.

But from that article, it's giving quotes from Rumble about it.

Diet and exercise

but for a professional fighter who has been cutting weight his entire life, it's a very different story.

I don't doubt he made the cut, I was just speaking openly about the way it tends to work.

Diet and exercise? Never heard of it.

I thought you were going to reveal some fantastic "secret" method fighters had for cutting weight that wasn't that hard!

He had 8 weeks to drop the weight someone said. Now 40lbs in 8 weeks is pretty insane but its been done. Joe Riggs did it I think. If most fighters can get within 15 lbs walking weight, they can cut the rest over a week or so. I have cut as much as 10 lbs in 27 hours. IT SUCKS!!! It takes a lot out of you, but like JB said, at that level and being a professional athelete, I dont feel sorry for them. If I dont prepare and study before I stand behind the pulpit and end up studdering and looking foolish, its my own fault. GSP cuts alot of weight but still has plenty of gas because he knows what he is doing and he has good work ethic.

BTW 60lbs in 8 weeks!! I cant even imagine.

He looks like he's pure muscle (probably "mostly" even at 230) so that probably helped a lot.

it not like johson is ripped when he weighs 220 or whatever... Hes probably like Rampage and lets himself go between fights... Hes probably around 195 or so around fight night... Its like Rogan is getting people to think he gains all 50 pounds back in water weight on fight night lol

edit: woah not to tute my own horn but i just saw the interview where he sais he weighes 195 pounds at fight time
