It makes me sad that a 4 year old is being used for politcal gain. Children are benig used as deportation shields.

Yeah, same here.

And I'd like to know how the atty. knows it wouldn't happen to a "caucasian girl from some European country". Unless the atty. is actually Miss Cleo.

I bet they did give the dad the choice of picking her up but he was scared. They should have said bring your whole family we are treating you to lunch and icecream for the inconvenience then rounded them all up at once. Oooppsss our mistake we lied to you just like you do so that you can stay in the country. So we'll buy your ticket and call it even (yes i know that would never happen)

oh and i laughed out loud when they said she was being treated like an anchor baby?

For somebody to just jump the border and make demands is an insult to your family and others like your family! At least that's the way I see it. I will admit to feeling sorry for the child though!
