Guys help me here!! Please ok so is it good or bad having long fights? I see it as bad and boring..Maybe a few times that's great when you got 2 awesome fighters fighting the minutes away, but to be on a list...??

Well, just 'cause you're on the list doesn't mean it's a good thing! There are all kinds of records for worst batting average, most interceptions thrown, etc.

It depends. Hughes/Sherk went all 25 minutes and was exciting all the way. Arlovski/Sylvia III went 25 minutes and was extremely boring. When fighters are timid or unconditioned, it sucks.

I see. Ok thanks cause I wasnt understanding who would be proud you last long.. I mean that's good sometimes, but other times quick and fast works better.

Once again, depends on the situation.

gsp has 17 fights in the ufc all of them after ufc 28. 7 of them ended in the first or second round.

they are averaging career ufc fights of fighters with at least 5 fights. not the last five fights of the fighters career. gsp would certainly top that list.

the more fights you have in the ufc the better chance you have of staying of these list.

oh and gsp lost two of those 7 fights that finished in the first or second round. this is why his fights last longer now.
