prayers for the Coptic Church after being attacked

In Egypt yesterday several bombs were set off outside Coptic Churches killing Christians and upsetting their worship in the nearby churches. These took place in the city of Alexandria in northern Egypts Nile Delta.

The Coptic Church is an old denomination with links to the Orthodox and the Roman Catholic Church, it is the denomination that geographically covers the middle east the most.

Regardless of the reasons why the terrorists have targetted Christians this time, and regardless of your own feelings about the Coptic Tradition, one really ought to pray for those who have been hurt, distressed, or left behind, so soon in the new year.
