It is running on TV now, and the TV version is obviously shortened to around 30 seconds.
Personally, I think it's an okay commercial. The part where he references Barkey's "I am not a role model" is classic. I think James has been overly criticized in this whole thing. He didn't need to make such a spectacle about his decision to leave the Cavs, but Cleveland's fans and the owner of the Cavs reacted like little children. I'm sure the commercial wasn't Lebron's idea and, even though he agreed to do it, he is under contract to do these type of sponsorship ads for Nike. I doubt it will have much impact on sales of Nike products in Cleveland, but I can understand the viewpoint that it seems like pouring salt on an open wound.
I think what he should do is win.
