Kinda sad. Today is the last day of Benaiah's 5 week summer visitation with me. It has been so awesome and amazing having him here. He is just part of the family, and everyone loved every minute of him being here. It seemed like it was permanent almost. He has learned and progressed so much while he was here too! I miss him already......

I took Benaiah to his mom's at 6pm. When I carried him up to her apartment & she met us, he curled up & latched onto me, not wanting to go. I felt so bad, & held back tears all the way home! Emily fell asleep on the way back, and I had a migraine all afternoon, so when we got home I went to bed & she wanted to go with me. I tell you what, that little girl won't let you be sad for long! She snuggled up to me and told me "Happy stories", then we talked about all kinds of stuff....deer hunting, dinosaurs, princesses, the difference between carnivores, omnivores, & herbivores, you name it, lol. As much as I hated to leave my baby boy and as much as I miss him, I am truly blessed! I love being a daddy!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys!! I appreciate it! Yeah it was nice to finally have a nice birthday, it's been years since I had a good one. It's actually weird having a good guy. I spent 6 years with my cheating boyfriend and paid all our bills. Yes, I was one of those dumb girls who thought I could change him. But I finally found a good, hardworking sweet guy.
Tonight I'm tired!!! Long week and busy at work. Really looking forward to the 3 day weekend!

I am so happy that it's the weekend now. I had a heck of a week at work this week and I have just been exhausted. I have the bf's cousin's wedding to attend with all the festivities surrounding it all weekend but I get to meet more of his family that has come in from out of town and that's been fun.
I get Monday all to myself to hang out in my bed all day with my dog and a bunch of movies. I can't wait!!! ~Amy
