typically he will when he has time and we like to make a 20 dollar donation to his charity. see the details in his store or Nater can maybe shed some more light on this.

That's cool. I remember reading that he had gotten involved with an orphanage in Mexico. The men in my church go to the Honduras a couple of times a year. I haven't managed to make the trip yet, but my dad went two yyears ago and helped to rebuild a church...

My bf went to Honduras on a medical mission a year and a half ago. Said it was a very humbling experience. The country is rather unstable right now though so I don't know how many trips are being made at this time by Americans.

My brother-in -law goes to Costa Rica every summer for a Dr.'s without borders mission type trip. He had very similar experience.

I'd love to do a mission trip of some sort.

Dad said the biggest difference is the lack of the middle class. He said there were people who were rich, and lived in nice houses much similar to the houses that are in America, and then you had the poor, the poverty stricken, there was no in between. It seemed either you had money, or you didn't. But it was a great experience for him and I hope that the next time he goes, I will be able to make the trip with him...

I'm actually not sure about the political stability of the region at this point, but I haven't heard whether or not they had decided to stop the mission trips, maybe I should ask someone...

Every year since 2001 (except for '07 & this summer), I've gone on a mission trip. 6 of the 8yrs we went to Belize, CA to build schools & a clinic. It was amazing.
