Self defense instinct cant be bred out, its one of the basic drives, it can come out in different forms or be supressed but you cant breed out suvival instincts.

See, thats a freedom most "free Countries" do not allow. To arm yourself in my part of the world would make you impossible to be a law-abiding citizen in the first place.

ive always been a revolver fan , I prefer a gun to look good as well as function. I have just never been a fan of the box style handguns , ive got a cheapo h&r single six 22 lr with a 22 mag cylinder as well , carry it with me whenever im in the timber.

Also have a new dakota 45lc. absoltutley LOVE that pistol.

I'm with you on that, Mac! My grandfather had a Ruger single six with interchangeable chambers in 22 lr & 22 magnum too. Personally I love my Ruger stainless Blackhawk single six 357 magnum. I usually load it with cheap 38's when I'm working for snakes. I've always wanted to try to get a deer or hog with it, though. I have some 357 hollowpoints that I bet would do a number on something with a man-sized torso....
