Wow. The acid reflux part I can relate to; there are some effective medications for that. The other part I don't know about but he is on my list.

We just don't know what goes on with the fighters sometimes. They are human after all aren't they?

He was misdiagnoses with dyspepsia and treated that w/ diet for 4 years eating 1/3 of what he normally would. so he lost 30 lbs.

he went to a specialist and found out he actually has Esophageal spasm and acid reflux. he is getting a neurotoxian shot into his esophagus to see if that helps. if not he will try medicine. then surgery if he must. but he's happy to know what he has is treatable.

Oh ok. Glad then that he will be able to get treatment for the correct diagnosis. That sucks. Poor guy. He must have been miserable all this time. He's such a nice guy, too. I met him in Houston.
