Was I the only one was that was a little worried Matt wasn't capitalising. I was like get on top and smash him and end the fight! But it seemed like Almeadia was going to miss it.

But if you think about it Chael gave everything he had and couldn't finish - Shane Carwin blew himself up trying to get the TKO. Which is just amazing because Matts finish shows of a veteran, that sort of clinical calmness that knows how to finish.

Simply brilliant - that stuff takes years and years to ever perfect.

Congrats Matt! Was able to get updates on the forum when the fight was going on. Was away with the family. Can't wait to see the full fight. WAR HUGHES!!
