I thought it was funny how the UFC keeps describing Alves as one of the best welterweights in the division and he keeps failing to make weight.

They should force him to middleweight or cut him from the UFC.

Man that's bad for Thiago...only 1.5 pounds but it's still about the professionalism of knowing you are at the contracted weight on the day of the weigh in. It's a professional and legal obligation that you enter in to when you sign the contract. There are exceptions SOMETIMES, but habitual weight offenders get a bad name real quick.

I agree they need to make him at least goto middleweight or at least try it for a few fights,though I'm not sure about cutting him from the roster.
This has got to play on thiago's mind that he can't make weight and everyone keeps calling him on it.
If I was Fitch everytime I got him down I would let him have it with the trash talking about his weight..
