BLOG: Fights at the Montgomery County Fair

Well, first of all I have a prayer request, we just found out that our dear friend, Bobbie, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. So we just wanted ask everyone to pray for healing and strength for her and her family.

This Friday night we've got fights at the county fair grounds in Butler, IL. If anybody around the area wants tickets, please contact Myrna Moore at 217-272-4489. I will be there with several other HIT Squad members.

Everybody is probably interested in my training, it's going well and that's all I want to say at this point.

I don't know if any of you are following US soccer (football), but they just won and I'm glad they are doing well.

This Saturday night, I'm going to meet up with some buddies and one of those buddies owes me some money. He frequents the website and I've even linked to some of his stories from time to time. So it will be nice to see him and as always, he will give me cash in hand. As a lot of the forum members know I am a little bit of a gambler and I just got done ordering my 20 cases of ammunition from Patrick Flanigan on a bet he lost.

The World Cup has been really exciting and today's game was no different. Glad to hear training is going well. Wish i could come out to the fights this weekend, but we're going on vacation next week and just couldn't get away for this one.

I will be sure to remember Bobby in my prayers.
