I just broke my first rifle scope

shooting my new remington 700 sps 30-06 and broke a 90's era redfield scope. crosshair piece flopping around, and cant see anything.

I didn’t know you could do that! The ’06 doesn’t kick that hard, and I thought the Redfield’s were pretty tough. They might fix it for you though; it might be worth your while to get in touch with them.

The Redfield that produced this scope is no more. Since I load minimum charges, I'm more prone to think it was a result of the multiple times my dad dropped it when it sat on his rifle. I will be replacing it with another Redfield.
