Default Clay Guida

I just can't help but like the man.. If he fought with a little more patience he would be doing better in the UFC IMO.. but then he wouldn't be the fighter I like so much.....

Thoughts on Clay???

Despite his status as an up-and-coming UFC fighter he was not included in the UFC 2009 Undisputed video game due to technical issues caused by his long hair. He was even offered $10,000 by Dana White to cut it, but he refused.

This was on Wiki... I emailed Clay last night ( I can't get into Twitter) to see if it was true..

Anyone know for sure if it is or isn't?

I was at the Palms when Guida fought Huerta and enjoyed one of the best fights in the UFC's history. How can you not like Guida's energy

He does get overaggressive at times and puts himself in bad positions which cause losses. He's still fun to watch none-the-less.

What, has Dana become George Steinbrenner?

I'm glad Clay didn't cut his hair, that's part of his charm/persona! I like him, Spiritwalker, he's a wild man with a big heart.

I think Clay should be given a lifetime contract ... I have never watched one of his fights and failed to be entertained. Win, lose or draw I'd keep the guy on if I was Dana.

Clay Guida is awesome...even at the weigh-ins he's bouncing all over the place. I'm not sure how he manages to stay still for the 4-5 seconds it takes for them to confirm the weight! Plus he's always smiling & showing respect to the other fighters. I can't help but like the guy.

I feel like Clay has been completely BORING lately.
IMO his 3 wins after losing to Huerta were snooze fests.

But the awesomeness of the fights he lost was huge.
