That's a pretty loose interpretation to apply to this don't you think? God may not change but how He interacts with us has surely changed has it not?

ok cooool story here.....

I went to Guatemala for a Missions trip in January, last month...and it changed me more than I know.

Afterwards, I felt kinda sad, but looked forward to the next one next winter. The church I go to wasn't sure where, but they were searching the globe for where help is needed (churches that are involved in street ministry and carpentry)

A couple weeks ago, my power went out at my house for almost a week, so I had to bunk at two of my friend's houses. One night, in my dream, I had a map, and a thumbtack, and I put it on Mas, Espana. In English, that would mean "More, Spain". I told this to my friend's dad, and he said, "Well maybe the missions will go to Spain next".

After looking that phrase up online, I found out there really is a town called "Mas de las Matas" in Spain.

In church on Sunday (2 days ago), the missions leader announced the group will be going to Madrid next winter.

Needless to say, I was completely blown away.

I don't think it is a loose interpretation (it is almost a verbatim quote) or that how He interacts with us has changed really, as that would imply that He has changed. We put up barriers (sin) that barred some interaction, and then the sacrifice of Jesus took that out of the way. God didn't move away, we did.

"Wow honey! You don't LOOK like you weigh that much!"

I GUESS it was a compliment!

That being said, I always like the Hebrew method of emphasis: rather than bold/italics/underline something, you repeat it. "Verily, verily, verily I say unto thee...", "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty...", etc. So I think that since us southerners add extra negatives into our sentences for emphasis, it doesn't mean we're less educated than the rest of the world, it just means we're closer to God. Can I get an AMEN!!

Verra, Verra, VERRA funny.
