I think I've only watched Olberman once, when he was doing his little fake tirade over gay marriage just after the election. I think "pompous ass" is putting it mildly.

I liked Olberman back in the day, when he only talked about sports on ESPN. Even though I don't agree with most of political views... I think if he stopped being so ideological, and focused less on just bashing conservatives he could actually be a good political commentator.

But... he is on MSNBC, which is as far (if not more) biased to the left as people claim Fox News is biased to the right. So, I doubt he will tone down his rhetoric anytime soon considering Fox News kills MSNBC in the ratings. Keith needs to make feuds with guys like Bill O'Reilly, just so people will actually watch his show.

I think it's hilarious how NBC has him sitting in and giving analysis during football season. Sitting right next to Matt Millen, the league's biggest loser...
