Default Dan Henderson to Strikeforce

Quote:

Remember those contract negotiations that between Dan Henderson and the UFC that had slowed down of late? Apparently they slowed all the way to a halt, and now Hendo may be headed for Strikeforce. The crazy part? UFC president Dana White seems content to just watch him go:

“We have a good relationship with Henderson, and there are no hard feelings,” White said. “He had a figure he believed he was worth, and we had our own figure, and we weren’t able to get together.”
haha wow

Man, that's too bad. I love Hendo & never watch Strikeforce.

On a positive note, can you imagine a Dan/Robbie match-up??

I would like to see some more reliable confirmation before I believe that.

I'd also like to see confirmation. But wouldn't be a total surprise since MMAweekly was reporting the following:

its all part of dana's master plan, let go a few big names so strikeforce will jump on them and pay them more money, 2-3 shows later strikeforce is bankrupt from paying these fighters and UFC picks them all back up at a discounted price

then the fedor/ufc rumors can start flying around again and fedor will sign with...... are any companies left after strikeforce that arent in the big co-promote thing already?

Big gain for Strikeforce if they can do this deal and stay financially viable. Lawler, Mousassi (sp?), Shields if he stays at 185, potentially Cung Le...there's some good matchups on the table. Dare I even say Fedor - Dan went to decision with Big Nog back in Pride...
