Greatest Ever!! Biggest Fight Ever! Bal. Bla...

Has anyone noticed that these words are used for every UFC. I know that they have to sell the matches and build up the excitement to attract fans and make money but sometimes I feel its over-used. It won't stop me from watching however.
Sometimes I feel that if you were to start a drinking game at the beginning of a UFC PPV and take a drink for every time the words amazing, greatest/best in UFC history and unbelieveable were used you would pass out before the first fight.
(Just speaking for myself, I'm sure that most people could last half way thru the first round of the first match )

Yeah, I was laughing when I heard BJ call his matchup with GSP, "The greatest event in MMA ever." or something like that. It's quite overblown in the UFC. IMO, until Anderson Silva faces Fedor, we'll never see that, lol

It's called salesmanship and promotion and Dana is an expert.

Look out how much time and effort each one of us spends watching or discussing MMA and the guys that participate in the "sport".

None of them have important jobs compared to soldiers, teachers, policemen, firefighters or heck even the guy who pours your coffee. (I leave out politicians... because we'll I'm undecided on really how important their jobs are...).

Since they are talking of a possible rematch between GSP and BJ Penn they will throw forth all the same phrases with 'Once Again......." beginning every sentence. Or put alot of emphasis on "THIS is the biggest........."
