Found this on sherdog
B.J. Penn will defend his lightweight title against Kenny Florian on Aug. 8 at UFC 101. After competing at 170 pounds against Georges St. Pierre, he’s on his way to 155 for Florian and weighted 166.8 on Wednesday. Penn said on BJPenn.com he’s surprised the weight is coming off so quickly and that he better slow down. So I guess the question is answered, BJ is training hard for Ken-Flo |

He HAS to be in good shape to make 155.
That he why it is such a good weight for him. It pushes him a lot harder then 170. It forces him to be in shape. |

You mean sauna out water weight? Normal guys maybe 10 lbs? A little more? a little less. But I know a guy like Sherk walks around off Season up over 180 according to him. BJ weighs at 155 and cuts little to none when he fights at 155 |
