I phrased my answer the way I did in reference to the book: Albion's Seed.

The sad state of England depresses me. America is in bad shape but not as bad as England. At one point in time I wanted to visit, but the England that I admire only exists in history books now.
I've never read the book. I know the term is a real ancient reference to the British Isles, that was used by the Classical Cultures previous to Romanization and awareness of the Celts.

America is our offspring, and she has a lot of her Mothers Traits doesnt she I admire America so much because I see in her, what We used to be. America is now the last vestege for Christondom. Rome has gone, The Anglican Communion is weak...only the Christian Right in America keep the torch burning

The thing is...how can you admire Englands heratage if your arent a Royalist?? What bit of our past is it you wish was still living For me, its the power of the Monarchy, the Tradition of Ceremonial, and The British Empire.

We never recovered from the Two World Wars...

"the British people are left exhausted. The Nation, Shattered, by austerity and debt. The Presteige and Ideals of Empire are Fading. As the Empire Crumbles, Imperial Attitudes Live on. Britian and Her Empire must confront the legacy of intollerance, paternalism, and Prejudice...

...."Most of us are white in the head, but feel black inside, we arent black or white, we are a lonely, lost, sad, displaced group of people"...."What is their in my culture you value?"...." We were told England was the greates country in the world, we came here, and to our suprise, found you wouldnt accept us!"...

... The old idea of Empire is repugnant to us today, but the collonies are a legacy, which we inherited, and which can not just be thrown off."
