Why do they need more than two refs for one card? It seems that a card usually has about 10 fights on it. They can't use two refs working every other fight for 5 each? I'm curious how much they get paid to show up to a UFC event and work 2 or 3 fights. I know they also have other duties, like checking on the fighters before they enter the cage, etc. but it seems just about any SAC official could do that.
