This is a GREAT combo for muscle synthesis, Mark. I definitely down a bit of homemade gatorade (very diluted powder), and sometimes eat a protein bar about an hour before my workouts. The way the schedule is going, we are working about 3.5 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays by taking all three classes, Womens MT, Boxing, then general advanced MT.
A buddy told me about hte oatmeal and apple sauce combo and it took me about 3 weeks to figure out the right ammount for my body. Too much and I'd feel sick about halfway through class, not enough and I'd have an energy crash about 30 minutes before class was over.
I forgot to add that I do a mega Whey shake 15 minutes after class is done.
