That's what the problem was last time. Bellator took the UFC's contract & just replaced "UFC" & "Zuffa" with "Bellator" & "Viacom", but they'd never done a PPV & so Eddie was trying to prove that there's no way it could be an equal match.
In this case, if Zuffa does the same thing in reverse, it'll be a much
stronger offer to Gil. A huge step-up for him. It'll be interesting to see if they try to low-ball him and, if taken to court, claim that whatever they offered is worth more than Bellator's imaginary PPV points.
