Julie Kedzie vs. Bethe Correia

Round 1:
The referee in charge of the action is Steve Perceval. Both fighters open orthodox. Both trade punches that miss, but are being thrown with speed and authority. Kedzie staying busy with lead kicks to the body and legs. Correia lands a left hook. Correia scores two leg kicks in and out, but Kedzie cracks Correia with a right hand. Kedzie whiffs on a spinning back fist, but just barely. Correia pushes Kedzie into the fence, but breaks free. Hard left hook from Correia finds the mark. The two clinch again. Kedzie lands a short knee and they break. Correia drops for a single then into a double and sort of gets it as Kedzie sits to the mat as the bell sounds.

Round 2:
Both fighters still utilizing a lot of movement, but Correia times a left hand perfectly. Nice left hook counter from Kedzie finds the mark. The fighters trade in the pocket with both making contact. Beautiful front kick sits Correia to the mat temporarily, but now they clinch against the fence. Hard right hand from Correia crashes into Kedzie and she's pressing the American into the fence again. Spinning back kick lands for Kedzie. Correia shoots a double and uses it to press Kedzie into the fence.

Round 3:
Correia makes contact to start the round. Kedzie lands a right in response. Decent right hand now for the Brazilian. Correia catches a kick and trips Kedzie to the mat. Kedzie scoots back to the fence, but open space allows Kedzie to land some left hands as she stands. Good one-two combo from Correia and Kedzie tries to respond with a flurry. Correia staying busy, but a lot of punches being blocked. Side kick lands for Kedzie and the two end on a flurry.
