In England and the commonwealth the day of the Signing of the end of the First Great War is the day chosen for the National observance of the War Dead.
Whilst the actual day is tommorow, where the nation will hold a two moment silence at 11am, the closest Sunday, today, hosted the Royal Wreath Laying at the Capital Cenotaph in London. The Saturday night is given over to The Royal Legion who are a Charity connected with the Armed Forces, and they put a televised act of Remembrance which includes awards and a short Service to round up the event hosted in The Royal Albert Hall following a Muster.
It is attended by HM The Queen and a great many Royals, and the most prominent of Parliamentarians in the British Government.
The Queen is sombre throughout this occasion, often completely stoic. However, the Choir Boys Introit and the Processional Hymn clearly moved her this year.
I hope you enjoy it aswell
